Course Content

In this course, we will cover the following topics, among others:

• Using the HiTools Delivery software: Finding devices (network cameras and NVRs) in the network. Activating devices and setting the time. Updating device firmware.
• NVR configuration: Integrating network cameras. Setting recording options
• Network camera settings: Understanding and using functions such as WDR, HLC, IR, and schedules
• VCA rules: Configuring and testing motion and event detection
• Hik-Connect integration Live view, playback, and push notifications

• Basic network knowledge (this will not be taught in the course)
• A laptop with Windows 10 or 11, including admin rights to install software and change IP addresses
